Product Description

Liaoning is a Chinese Type 001 aircraft carrier. The first aircraft carrier commissioned into the People's Liberation Army Navy Surface Force, she was originally classified as a training ship, intended to allow the Navy to experiment, train and gain familiarity with aircraft carrier operations. Following upgrades and additional training in late 2018, Chinese state media announced that the ship would shift to a combat role in 2019.

My order

Received order, but having trouble as the diagrams in the book do not match the actual results. Therefore I haven't been able to finish the build.

Missing pieces

I couldn’t even get started on step one because of the lack of pieces. Horrible value. Hopefully brick armory will make it right.

Fun family project

We spent Christmas Day putting the aircraft carrier together. While I cannot understand the thoughts behind how pieces are packaged in bags, I find the instruction booklet easier to follow than the LEGO brand ones I’ve had. It looks cool too! I wish the propellers didn’t come off so easy, but there’s no way to fix that with their size.
