The Leclerc tank is a main battle tank built by GIAT. It was named in honour of General Philippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque, who led the French element of the drive towards Paris while in command of the Free French 2nd Armoured Division in World War II. The designation AMX-56 – while very popular – is not used officially.

Great little build, looks great in the cabinet

Terrific model !!

My younger son wanted this tank very badly for his birthday. He's a little young and he had a bit of difficulty putting it together, so my older son helped him. My boys spent a quiet and enjoyable evening together assembling the tank. There were no missing pieces, no missing stickers, nothing wrong; my boys were able to put the entire tank together with only a tiny bit of help from me. It's an impressive model, and larger than my younger son (the birthday boy) expected it to be. I am FULLY SATISFIED, and my younger son is very pleased and very proud of his tank. I can recommend this tank with confidence . . . Go ahead and buy it . . . But it does take quite some time to assemble.

Loved it. Doesn't quite go with my WW2 motif though lol. But actually looking towards buying every tank you have.

The Tank looks like it is complete. We have not assembled it yet. It was lost in transit and was resent out and I received quickly. It is now a Christmas present.
