My son is obsessed with ships right now. This set was perfect for him. We received the set in good condition, no missing pieces. It was shipped within the time that was stated when we placed the order. The only thing that I did not expect was there was no packaging with a picture of the ship on it. The numbered bags were just put in a shipping box that was too small for the contents. The box was bulging on top. However, it did arrive and my son did not care that it was not in a pretty box. All is well that ends well.
These are about the coolest items for kids and grandkids. I have purchased three kits so far and the grandkids just love them. Yes, the parts are interchangeable with LEGOs.
